People need and deserve earned paid sick and family days

Dear Mr. President

As a human being and small business owner, it sickens me to see highly profitable big businesses’ inhumane treatment of their employees. Corporations and the wealthy squeeze every bit of life from working women and men. People need and deserve earned paid sick and family days. Benefits that are available to upper management, in the name of greed, are denied to rank and file employees.

How can a single parent care for a sick child?

Why is Walmart firing employees who take time off to care for sick children?

Do we want sick employees who cannot afford to take time off preparing and serving our meals?

Please speak out on the rights of our most vulnerable citizens.
