But do I have to contact you prior to using a story?

Though not required for the purposes described above, we do request that you contact us at info[at]FamilyValuesAtWork.org to let us know about your intended use.

Our storytellers appreciate knowing when their stories have enhanced understanding about a policy issue that has affected their lives.   And because our storytellers have generously offered to avail apects of their lives in the interest of improving civic dialogue, we want to do our best to let them know how their stories are being used.  By contacting us, we can also help ensure that there have been no material changes in a storyteller’s circumstances prior to your using their story.

Our web-based stories can be hyperlinked from Facebook pages, featured on your website, twittered, and hyperlinked on your blog and other social networking sites.

Social networking tools at the bottom of each story page enable you to Digg the story, Buzz It Up, and actively move the story through the web.
