20 Years of Winning for Workers and Their Families

Family Values @ Work is excited to celebrate our 20th anniversary this year. For two decades we’ve kept up the drum beat for the need for paid family and medical leave, and paid sick and safe days for ALL workers. And we couldn’t have done it without you.

Over the past 20 years, we have partnered with hundreds of organizers, activists, and organizations across the country through our Network to ensure everyone knows that they have a right to paid time to heal and care, without risk of financial insecurity or unemployment. All work is honorable, and paid leave is our right by virtue of being workers in this nation.

To celebrate our anniversary, we have a year of exciting events planned to celebrate with you and our Network. From high-profile speakers, to town halls and parties, we’re looking forward to commemorating this milestone with you. Check our Facebook page for a list of our upcoming events.

Many things have changed for us over the past 20 years, but one thing has remained constant: we will not consider our work over or success achieved, until we’ve won economic, racial, and gender justice for all. Working with our Network partners to deliver paid family and medical leave, paid sick and safe days, and affordable, high-quality childcare for all is how we’ll do it.

Two decades of advocacy, organizing, and educating later, and we’re just getting started!
