Maine Women’s Lobby, the lead organization in the state’s grassroots effort for paid sick days, launched a new civic engagement campaign this week called “She Decides.”
The campaign is geared toward working women and offers them tools to become informed and active voters in the upcoming elections. “She Decides” helps women find out where Maine legislative and gubernatorial candidates stand on key economic issues that affect women and their families including pay equity, paid sick days, family leave insurance, and access to jobs and education.
