Charmaine Lang

Charmaine Lang has been a part of the reproductive and racial justice movement for over a decade as an organizer, trainer, and leader. She joined 9to5 as the Chief of Staff to support the sustainability of the organization and its members. As a scholar, Charmaine earned her Ph.D. in African and African Diaspora Studies and examined the self-care practices of Black women activists in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Charmaine is a Forever Echoing Ida writer, a Chicago-style stepper, and resides in North Carolina with her fiancé.
