Yesterday’s reintroduction of the New York City paid sick days ordinance garnered quite a bit of media attention. Supporters of the bill held a press event on the steps of City Hall, where workers and city council members gave passionate speeches about the need for this new labor standard. The next public event on the issue will be a May 4th hearing. In the meantime, check out this news coverage:
