Divya Nair

Divya Nair is the policy analyst for The Economic Progress Institute. She graduated from Columbia University with an MSW in Policy Practice and has a B.A. in Gender and Health, with a minor in Community Action and Social Change, from the University of Michigan. Divya has worked with non-profit and government agencies in the areas of human rights, housing, and children’s nutrition and education, and she has experience in research, policy dissemination and community engagement. Divya is passionate about issues related to gender equity, global migration, and critical consciousness. Her goal is to advance equity through an anti-oppressive lens.
