Elaine Mejia

Elaine Mejia is an experienced public policy advocate and nonprofit communications expert who lives in Faison, North Carolina. She is the Executive Director of Think Big Alliance, a progressive narrative change organization. Elaine also works as a Senior Strategist with Topos Partnership leading framing research projects. Elaine previously worked for the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities and Dēmos. Elaine also served previously as the Director of the North Carolina Budget and Tax Center, where she led successful campaigns to increase the minimum wage, raise taxes on top earners, and establish a state Earned Income Tax Credit.
