Jaida Jenkins-Curtis (she/her)

Federal Organizer and State Lead

Jaida Jenkins-Curtis has been an activist and organizer since her early teens. Jumping right into the labor movement straight out of high school, she found purpose in organizing with young minority groups. After 6 years of working in the labor movement, her passion for creating community and fighting for justice led her to Family Values @ Work where she began her journey in federal organizing. In this role she works with the White House, and Members of Congress to fight for fair and accessible elections and care narrative issues for all. Using the current political landscape Jaida fights to build long-term power for our communities, including but not limited to everyone having access to Paid Family Medical Leave, Paid Sick and Safe Days, healthcare and safe and affordable childcare. Jaida leads by equity and identifying systems of oppression, inspiring the masses, and being the change she wants to see in the world. As she expands her leadership, and activism with Family Values @ Work she continues to be a voice and representative for her community, her commitment to fiercely advocating for minorities and educating the nation will never falter.
