Nicole Marie Melton (she/her)

Nicole Marie Melton is the Digital Content Specialist at Family Values at Work. Prior to joining our team, Nicole spent more than 10 years in digital marketing, including serving as an associate editor at ESSENCE.com, where she earned two Min Integrated Marketing Awards for Best App Integration and Most Creative Uses of Technology for producing innovative digital content. Nicole is passionate about leveraging content marketing, social media strategy, and digital media to serve the community and drive meaningful change. After earning her Master of Divinity from Howard University School of Divinity, she spent several years in full-time ministry, collaborating with initiatives that supported communities of color by addressing spiritual, social, economic, and advocacy needs. These experiences ignited her commitment to advancing long-term systemic change through advocacy and digital engagement. Nicole was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and enjoys attending spin class and reading in her free time.
