Rachel Mannino (she/they)

Development Director

Raised by a single working mom who earned $15,000 per year, Rachel learned to find and raise resources early in life. Before joining Family Values @ Work, she created the fundraising strategy for Let Girls Learn, a signature initiative for the Office of the First Lady under the Obama Administration. Through securing millions of dollars in funding for Let Girls Learn, Rachel was able to invest in the education of girls around the world. Now, Rachel is working toward a broader economic and gender justice agenda as Family Values @ Work’s director of development, raising funds in the fight for paid leave. Rachel lives in Maryland with her husband and two children, an energetic boy and a baby girl.
