Rhonda Wilson

Rhonda is a passionate advocate for social justice and equality, shaped by her upbringing in a family of strong African American Women who held job positions with the State. Witnessing the daily struggles and injustices her own mother and grandmother faced in the workplace ignited Rhonda’s drive to make a difference.

During her college years, Rhonda became deeply involved in advocacy work, co-founding a sorority dedicated to promoting education and awareness amongst Women, Women of color and mentoring at-risk teen girls of color.
After more than a decade working in corporate, Rhonda honed her skills as a storyteller, and she uses her platform to bring attention to issues of inequality and other social injustices.

Rhonda’s passion for advocating for paid medical leave stems from personal experience, as she saw firsthand how it allowed her mother to rest and recover after a serious car accident. She believes that access to paid medical leave should be a basic civil right for every working household, as it is crucial to maintaining good health and well-being.
When she’s not advocating for social justice, Rhonda enjoys participating in Writer’s Workshops, as well as Traveling.
