Teena Lewis (she/her/hers)

Instructional Designer & Documentarian

Teena is the instructional designer and documentarian for Family Values at Work. She has over 10 years of experience in learning design and works to apply principles of adult learning, instructional design, and healing justice to initiatives that bring the best out of people and organizations.

Prior to joining FV@W, Teena spent 14 years as a licensed massage therapist in southern California. There she advocated for a statewide professional certification that eliminated the per-municipality financial burden massage therapists were previously beholden to. She has always believed in creating just workplaces for all.

Teena led professional development efforts for wellness professionals as an educator and founder of her own training company and developed a passion for integrating strategy and care-centered personal skill development.

When she isn’t working, you might find her wandering on a hiking trail somewhere in the north Georgia forest, reading fantasy novels that weave together tales of magic, mystery, and social justice, or learning about regenerative economic systems.
