Rafael – I Probably Would’ve Lost My Job

In the past few years, I needed more paid sick days than I had in the bank at work. When I got hired, I did inform them that I had a disability, but there was no accommodation from my employer. Fortunately, I had a good supervisor and he would arrange for me to use my vacation days when I ran out of sick days. I didn’t take much vacation time and that was partly why. If I had worked for any other employer, I probably would’ve lost my job.
