Connecticut
EverybodyBenefits.org is Connecticut’s campaign for paid sick days. Formed by a broad coalition of public health professionals, women’s advocates, union members, faith leaders, small business owners and concerned citizens, the EverybodyBenefits campaign believes that Connecticut needs a basic workplace standard for paid sick days, for the public health and the health of our state’s workers, families and our economy.
The coalition, led by Connecticut Working Families, made history this year by passing the nation’s first statewide law guaranteeing paid sick days for service workers, and will turn its attention to ensuring strong implementation of the program in 2012.
