The Maine Working Families Coalition
Giving voice to the needs and concerns of Maine’s working families
The Maine Working Families Coalition gives voice to the needs and concerns of Maine’s working families. The Coalition is comprised of economic, social, and community justice organizations from across the state, and fights to ensure that the interests of Maine’s working families are considered and valued when policymakers are making decisions that will impact their lives. The Maine Working Families Coalition endorses policies rooted in the principle that workers should be able to adequately provide for their families through work. Economic security for working families is also good for Maine business. The Coalition embraces a balanced approach to growing Maine’s economy that supports both employers and employees, both workplaces and our workforce.
